The Design Library

The Design Library set-up is different to those of the other product rooms. Here you can choose your design and view how they look on all the products we think suit the design.

So, if you have a colour or pattern in mind, or you are looking for inspiration then the Design Library is the place to start.

Simple straight lines and curves! The foundation for many interior design projects. Here we have added a selection of the following geometric patterns:

“Colour is a powerful design tool that can make the rooms in your home feel more calm, cheerful, comfortable or dramatic.”

We know it’s true. Colour has a huge impact on the look and feel of a room. Even the not-so-keen decorator needs to give some thought to the aesthetics before randomly slapping paint on the wall. We found this useful 3 step guide to use before you start on your interior decor:

  1. Consider how you will use a room, and at which times of the day. Lighting makes a big difference to how a colour looks, and how it can affect your mood.
  2. Consider how you want to feel when you’re in the room? – Calm and focused? Energized?  Relaxed?  Secure?  Choose your colour(s) accordingly.
  3. Trim your colour choices down to those that work with your furniture and other fixed elements. Alternatively, if you are starting with a blank canvas, choose your colour(s) and be sure to furnish the room with the appropriate complement furnishings.

Ultimately, colour is a matter of taste and choice. For our initial colour schemes we’ve purposely, black & white aside, chosen palettes that are not classed as standard. They each have a place…but is it at your place?
